Your body in the conversation

A video call where both of you see what happens in the body

FairStream Pulse connects a guide and a participant remotely. The participant wears a sensor on a finger, chest or wrist, and during the conversation both of you see live heart rate, HRV and other body signals. After the meeting you can go through the recording again, video included.

For therapists, coaches and their clients, relaxation and breathing instructors. A wellness tool, not a medical device.

What you will see

Heart rate and pulse wave

Live from a chest strap, a watch or a finger sensor, with a chart over time.

HRV

Heart rate variability and indicative values derived from it (sympathetic, parasympathetic, coherence) when the sensor sends beat-to-beat intervals.

Marks and recording

Mark important moments with one tap. Every meeting is saved as a separate recording with video.

All indicators are indicative values from mathematical formulas, not a health assessment. The app sets no thresholds and no alerts.

How it goes

  1. The guide creates a sessionand sends the participant a link or an invitation code.
  2. The participant joins and consentsto their body signals being shown and stored during the meeting. Without consent it is just a video call.
  3. Connects a sensorover Bluetooth on the phone: a strap, a watch, a finger sensor or a skin conductance sensor.
  4. Conversation and recordingBoth see the values live. After leaving, the meeting is saved and can be replayed.

How it works in detail →

Works with what you already have

Chest straps from Polar, Garmin, Wahoo and others, watches from Garmin, Samsung Galaxy Watch, Apple Watch, Polar, Suunto, COROS, Huawei, Amazfit and many more. For full HRV we recommend a chest strap or our finger sensor.

An experimental project

FairStream Pulse grows out of the FairStream platform for fair online conversations. We are now looking for guides and participants who will try it and tell us what works and what does not.
